Content Management System (CMS)
The majority of websites we build are database driven, with the client able to update website content in real-time. We provide our clients with intuitive tools to do this.
After spending much time analysing the features that our clients want and use most we draft a brief that we believe, will offer the perfect content management system solution.
Two major advantages of content management systems are that the client can update areas of their website without the need of web designers, thus there are no additional costs for changing site content also updates are instant. Therefore the client has extensive control over both content and when it becomes visible to the public.

iPhone/iPad/Android App development and mobile optimised sites
People who gain access to the Internet for the first time are doing so more via mobile devices than traditional computers. Also each year, there is an increasing percentage of internet traffic from mobile devices.
With the rise of the iPhone, iPad and Android devices, Apps are becoming the main way people interact with online services. Some services such as Twitter and Facebook are accessed each day predominantly via Apps.
Whilst an App is not the right solution for every company, they can give sites with rapidly changing data an easy way for their visitors to access this data whilst on the move.
If an App is not the right solution for your firm, it might be worth considering having a mobile version of your website generated. This stripped down site would be optimised for the navigation and smaller screens found on mobile devices as well as being quicker to load.
Traffic generating landing pages
A custom landing page is often a single page website that concentrates purely on one product or service. Traffic is driven to this page through other marketing means for example search engine, banner advertising, email marketing and print advertising.
The main purpose of a landing page should be to direct the audience to do something, for example; signing up for your newsletter, downloading a coupon or redirecting them to a product on your main website. You can use a custom landing page as a way to extend the reach of your lead generating efforts.

Website and email hosting
Website Hosting
The files that make up the completed website will need to be stored on a web-hosting server, which is connected to a high-speed Internet connection. So that a user can always access the internet site, the server must always be turned-on and the internet connection available.
To ensure that the server has the maximum possible ‘uptime’ we locate our equipment in a specially designed facility in London. The site is fault tolerant with backup power generators and automatic fire suppressant systems. The building is connected via several very fast internet connections capable of handling hundreds of thousands of website requests a second. The same hosting facility is also used by Microsoft, AOL, BBC and Google. The site is the largest and fastest internet hub in Europe.
All of our web servers run our own bespoke version of Linux. Our servers are resilient to failure and deliver maximum performance which is due to our custom configuration.
Email Hosting
We run our own secure email service that is hosted within our London facility. Email accounts are charged by the number of mailboxes that you have, not the number of email address that you have going to them. For example you could have sales@example.com and info@2ndexample.net both going to the same mailbox. All email is passed through spam and antivirus software to help reduce the time and risk in reading your emails.
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
Gaining good organic rankings in major search engines such as Google, Bing (MSN) and Yahoo! is vital in order to gain a return on your web site investment.
The best time for a site to be optimised is during the build process. When building a new website we constantly think about how to make the content as accessible as possible for search engines by deploying a range of techniques to enhance the sites listing within sites such as Google. Once the site is complete we will re-evaluate the site from a search engines perspective and carry out a round of further optimisation.
However, search engines algorithms are constantly changing. Therefore it is important that all websites are revisited and checked to ensure that they are ranking as highly as possible. Google have made over 500 changes in the last year alone. The exact code is a closely guarded Google secret; however over the years we have experimented using many test sites to see what gives one website a higher ranking over another. We have taken this knowledge of what makes a site 'google-friendly' and produced several SEO tools that look at the background code that makes up your website and checks for SEO inadequacies.
Your website is going to waste if it does not rank highly in search engine results for key phrases related to your business. Appearing top of the list can be the most effective and once in place, cheapest way of attracting business.
